Ifm electronic gmbh has announced that it will implement a general price adjustment across its product portfolio, effective July 1, 2026.

According to the company, the adjustment is necessary due to continued increases in key cost areas, including global logistics and memory components. 

Geopolitical tensions, trade route constraints, and rising fuel and handling costs have significantly increased shipping expenses for both inbound materials and outbound deliveries.

In addition, strong demand driven by AI and data centre growth has absorbed a significant share of global memory supply. Limited short-term production capacity and long-term supply commitments have further contributed to sustained price increases for memory components.

To maintain reliable deliveries, ifm has taken proactive steps to secure critical components and logistics capacity. 

However, the resulting cost increases can no longer be fully absorbed. 

Therefore, ifm will apply a general price increase of approximately 2.0% from July 1, 2026.
