Endress+Hauser has announced the official launch of the Micropilot FMR43, a next-generation 80 GHz free-space radar sensor specifically engineered for demanding applications in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Designed to meet stringent global hygienic standards (including 3-A and EHEDG certifications), the Micropilot FMR43 delivers continuous, non-contact level measurement with millimeter accuracy. Operating at an 80 GHz frequency, the device offers a narrow beam angle, allowing it to bypass internal tank obstructions such as agitators and heating coils while delivering reliable measurement signals—even in narrow or tall process vessels.

Key features of the FMR43 include Heartbeat Technology for continuous self-diagnostics and verification without process interruption, as well as Bluetooth® connectivity for easy commissioning and maintenance via the SmartBlue app. Its flush-mounted design ensures optimal cleanability, making it ideal for CIP/SIP processes.
