Danfoss Drives China has announced a price adjustment affecting variable frequency drives, related accessories, service spare parts and logistics charges. The revised pricing will apply to new orders received from 00:00 on August 19, 2026.

Background and Supply Chain Conditions

The adjustment follows continued cost and lead-time pressure across the global electronics supply chain. According to the notice dated August 12, 2026, rapid AI-industry expansion has contributed to capacity constraints, while the costs of core electronic raw materials and transportation have continued to rise.

Confirmed Adjustment Scope

The notice sets out three pricing changes for Danfoss Drives products and orders in China. The announced adjustments are:

• Variable frequency drives and related built-in or peripheral accessories: 5% increase

• Service spare parts for Danfoss variable frequency drives: 10% increase

• All product orders: additional 1% logistics surcharge

Effective Date and Order Treatment

The new prices take effect at 00:00 on August 19, 2026. Orders received from that time onward will be processed under the updated pricing. Danfoss also stated that a new edition of the Danfoss Drives China Standard Drives Product Price List will be released separately.

Procurement teams and system integrators should review pending drive, accessory and spare-parts requirements against the effective date. Budget calculations and new quotations may need to account for both the applicable product-category increase and the additional logistics surcharge.
